Nothing pleases us more than helping customers solve problems. So when materials were needed for an electrical substation on the humid Texas coast, we were thrilled to work with Houston distributor DEFI Structural Fiberglass on the project.
The materials not only needed to stand up against the ravages of corrosive salt water and flooding, but it was also essential that they protect against electrical conductivity. PROForms® Structural Shapes offer excellent corrosion resistance and low conductivity — perfect for the application and the coastal climate.
Bedford worked with DEFI Structural Fiberglass to design kits for 15 stair towers with FRP stair treads, handrails and molded grating. The PROGrid® Molded Grating used in this project also has a gritted non-slip surface that’s designed for safety on stairs, platforms and walkways.
