We are seeking a motivated Process Design and Development Technician to join our team on the 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of processes within our manufacturing environment. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining, improving and troubleshooting equipment setups and projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in welding
- Proficiency in plasma and torch cutting techniques
- Willingness to learn and operate CNC and CNC Plasma cutters
- Ability to interpret basic blueprints
- Ability to read and use dimensional measuring tools accurately
- Proficient in basic computer skills including email communication and Excel
Essential Functions
- Mill and build new setups and projects within the department
- Maintain and enhance existing setups and projects
- Troubleshoot problems and issues with dies and setups
- Communicate effectively with all departments as required
- Willingness to learn CAD-CAM software and other relevant tools
- Conduct tests on new projects in production
- Ability to multitask and assist in other areas as needed through cross-training
- Availability for overtime work as necessary
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required
- Ability to act as a strong team player with effective communication skills
- Demonstrate self-motivation with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
