We are pleased to announce the launch of ReadySpan, a pre-engineered, easy-install, quick-ship, modular pedestrian bridge system for pedestrian, equestrian and light vehicle use.
The trail, park and golf bridges are made of our high-quality fiberglass-reinforced polymer (FRP) and will last for decades virtually maintenance-free. Unlike bridges made from metal and wood, ReadySpan bridges won’t shrink, swell, warp, corrode, attract insects or fail in extreme weather conditions.

ReadySpan FRP truss bridges can span as far as 100 linear feet without intermediary supports. Our pre-engineered bridges have undergone structural analysis and we provide custom engineering and analysis on every bridge. This process ensures your bridge meets load-carrying conditions specific to your application location and intended use. The analysis includes a PE-stamped submittal package including CAD drawings and structural calculations.
ReadySpan comprises our P-series, for pedestrian use, and our PV-series bridges, for bicycle, equestrian and light vehicle use. Light vehicles include vehicles weighing up to 10,000 pounds, like ATVs and golf carts. This vehicle classification is known as H5 loading.
The bridge systems are fabricated from FRP using high-strength E-glass and isophthalic polyester resin for strength and durability. Railing designs are specified at a minimum of 54" above the floor deck. Trusses feature continuous 3" horizontal safety rails on the inside. ReadySpan bridges come standard in olive green and brown. The color is integrated during manufacturing, so no painting is needed.
The lightweight bridges are easy to transport to out-of-the-way locations. Installation is simple. ReadySpan components are fabricated on CNC machines and are shipped predrilled with all necessary hardware included. Hand tools are all that is needed for assembly. No heavy equipment, welding or excessive site work is required. Alternatively, the trail and park bridges can be shipped in modules requiring limited assembly, or completely pre-assembled to drop into the final location.
