PROGrid® molded grating is available in three resin systems, each providing different levels of corrosion protection. All three resin systems meet Class 1 Flame Spread Rating per ASTM E-84 test standards.
GP: A general-purpose orthophthalic polyester resin system that offers good corrosion resistance at an economical price. Standard colors: Yellow and Light Gray
IFR: A premium-grade isophthalic polyester resin system that provides excellent corrosion protection. Standard colors: Green, Yellow, Dark Gray and Light Gray
VFR: A vinylester resin system that provides the highest level of corrosion protection. Standard colors: Orange and Dark Gray
PROGrid molded grating panels are available in square or rectangular mesh configurations with either Meniscus or Grit-Top slip-resistant surfaces.
Grit-Top: Quartz grit anti-slip surface
Meniscus: Concave, half-moon cross section with no grit

Long Service Life – The high resin-to-glass ratio (approximately 65% resin to 35% glass by weight) provides excellent service life, even in the most demanding applications.
Less Waste – An interwoven square mesh construction provides bi-directional strength, so you can efficiently cut each grating panel to size and get the most use out of the material.

How is FRP grating made?
FRP grating is made using either a molded or pultruded process. Both methods use fiberglass and resin. Molded FRP grating is cast. Pultruded FRP grating pulls and shapes the material into rods and bars that are then assembled.
What is FRP grating used for?
FRP grating is used for walkways, platforms, catwalks, stairs, ramps, trench covers, floor systems and additional foot-traffic and vehicular-traffic applications.
What is grating material?
Grating material is panels of structural mesh to be used as a surface for foot and vehicle traffic when ventilation and drainage are also needed. These panels can be made of FRP, steel or other material.
How does grating work?
Grating uses a grid framework that is either molded or assembled with perpendicular bars to create a surface for foot and some vehicle traffic and allows for ventilation and drainage.
